Josh and Josh, April 2005. Josh and I were finishing our last semester of college at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. We went to Ikea one weekend and used one of their sets to shoot this picture. The camera is balanced on top of a wine glass.
Josh and Josh, April 2006. Josh and I worked the ticket booth for a gay sports expo at Webster Hall, New York City. At this point we'd been out of school for nearly a year, working at full-time jobs and living on the Upper East Side.
On January 28, 2005, Josh and I wrote our very first blog post. (This was pre-TypePad, on this old site, which is now in tatters.) Two years later, we're still here, still postin'. We were undergrads, we were New Yorkers, now we're cross-country best friends.
Speaking of which, guess who's coming to Manhattan next week to help me celebrate my twenty-fourth birthday?
Here's to Year Three, baby. Oh so rich, oh so famous.
Who knows what the picture from April 2007 will look like.
Love,
J & J

May both of you always find each of your lives intertwined with one another's in some capacity as the years continue to roll by. It's been such a treat to follow your friendship and experiences over these past couple years - what the two of you share is indeed rare and special. Thanks for always sharing in such meaningful ways!
