Josh K. Takes His New Camera for a Test Drive

Last night I raced home from work so I could test out m'new camera during daylight hours. I had only a few minutes before the sun went down, so I hurriedly turned it on, pointed it at something, anything, and started pressing buttons ("oooh, what's this one do?"). Below, documented for posterity, some of my first shots.

A Night at the Opera

Notes:

1)  This is the very first of many video thingys I (Josh K.) made during my undergraduate stint at the U of M. It may be a flawed mess, but it reminds me of a simpler time when nothing was more exciting than having in my possession a working videocamera, Final Cut Pro HD, and a friend willing to prace around in heels.
2)  Yes, those are indeed Josh H.'s hairy manlegs.
3)  Location: The north side of Pioneer Hall, University of Minnesota, Spring 2004.

Something Different

The following is a short "student film" (quotes intended to point out the inherent pretentiousness and immature arrogance of any and all video work made by students in undergraduate school) I , Josh K., made which features clips of both Josh H. and me in our college days at the University of Minnesota. The assignment: create a coherent montage by making connections between unrelated things/places/textures/ideas.
