A year ago today I lay on my bed in my (former) apartment in Brooklyn, clad in jammies with snacks at hand, and chatted with Reese Witherspoon on the phone.
Um, crazy, right?
Reese was promoting her new film at the time, Monsters vs. Aliens, and since I was on staff at a national parenting magazine, we spent a lot of time gabbing about her kids and her home life. She was incredibly sweet and open and only got warmer as the interview went on.
