Hot Young Married Gay Guys In New York Times Magazine

Young_gay_married_new_york_times_ma

So, those guys above? They're a real gay couple.

That's really their house.

They're really married.

They tied the knot in their mid-twenties and have been together almost a decade.

So. Not. Fair.

I totally have that vest.

Typical, kabobs, what? like we gays cant grill like real men? We have to make it fancy with punctured vegetables, and strategic char marks.

Aww. :)

I've got the <30x2, and the husband (yay boston!), so now we just need the house.

...wish the NYT had called. HA.

but anyway. don't be sad. you rock!!

actually, neither of those guys on the cover are under 30. they are the ones in the article who met when they were 25 eight years ago.

and i have the vest too, holler j crew.

lucky bastards
As a still single, mid-30's dude, I guess I will have to follow Margaret Cho's advice (saw her live onstage last night) and keep chewing my 'Dickorette' gum, until I find Mr. Right.

IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII KNOW.

This frustrated me so much..."this" being the extreme amount of envy I had.

I'm happy for them, really, truly I am....no seriously.

reminds me of this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EQ2Wp6RdgDw
And you'll get there -- you're not through the alphabet yet ;)

Josh K- if you posted this, don't worry. I'll marry you.

I couldn't get halfway through the first page. That was seriously hurting.

You really envy those guys?

Really...don't. You will have everything in life, just not all at the same time.

And the NYT was making fun of them with those crazy, faux vintage photos...

OK. Am I the only reader who thought the times article was vapid, cloying, mass media claptrap with models, sorry couples, that had just been popped out of their styrofoam "Stepford" husband packaging?
Yes it did make me feel slightly sick...but not with envy!

I'm happy if I get a second date....ahhh...maybe one day I'll be flipping burgers with my guy.

I hope they don't stand over that grill too long, or they'll both melt. That's the downside to being made of plastic.

You should start reading this article by starting at the end... You know, when they talk about divorces...

I read that article. Very interesting, indeed!

Rejoice in your singleness! Those married guys are probably fucking other guys on the side anyway.

why not celebrate the fact that these 2 are together and happy? i'm 32, single, living in los angeles and of course i hope i meet "that guy" some day...but not at the expense of anyone else's happiness.
